Perfect for young career-oriented individuals who are looking to be in the center of the city. It has beautiful parks, great nightlife and entertainment, very walkable with plenty of food and shopping in the area.
Northwest District
Perfect for young career-oreinted individuals looking for classy and upscale living with tons of shopping. It has great nightlife and entertainment with convenient public transit to local food and shopping.
Hosford-Abernathy & Hawthorne
Perfect for all ages looking for an affordable and exciting neighborhood with unique nuances. It's great for nightlife and entertainment as well as schools and safety.
Sellwood-Moreland
Perfect for individuals looking for a quiet, relaxed, and safe community with tons of history. It's great for affordability, schools, and food.
WEAThER
Although Portland has a reputation for being covered in cloudiness all year, we typically find that from November through May, you can expect 40 degree weather with occasional rain. A few days in the spring we get some single days of beautiful 70 degree weather. While in the summer you can expect anything from 75 to 100 between June through October.
Public Transportation
The Metropolitan Area Express (MAX) is a rail system running through the Portland metro area. It is owned and operated by TriMet, and it consists of five color-designated lines. Cities/towns it travels through include Beaverton, Clackamas, Gresham, Hillsboro, Milwaukie, and Oak Grove. Service runs 24/7. For more infor you can head to: https://trimet.org/max/
