TITLE: Communications Manager
DEPARTMENT: Creative
JOB TYPE: Part-Time (20 hours)
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Communications Manager at Rose Church ensures smooth and effective communication by managing the distribution and organization of pre-created content across various platforms. This role focuses on execution rather than content creation, coordinating with teams to maintain a consistent brand presence and delivering information that reflects the mission and vision of Rose Church. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about connecting people through impactful communication.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in digital tools, including email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp), social media (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook), and content management systems (e.g., WordPress or Church Center).
- Attention to detail, especially in proofreading and quality assurance.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teams and manage competing priorities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties may include but are not limited:
- Communication Strategy Support:
- Implement communication strategies to support church events, initiatives, and campaigns.
- Coordinate messaging for Sunday services, outreach events, and other Rose Church activities, ensuring alignment and clarity.
- Content Coordination (Non-Creative):
- Act as the central point for managing and distributing pre-created content across all communication platforms.
- Ensure all content adheres to Rose Church’s voice, tone, and branding guidelines.
- Review and proofread provided content for accuracy and clarity before release.
- Digital Communication Management:
- Schedule and publish pre-created content on social media platforms using scheduling tools.
- Manage updates to the Rose Church website, including event details, announcements, and resources.
- Oversee email campaigns, ensuring timely delivery and proper audience segmentation.
- Monitor social media channels for messages and comments, responding as needed to maintain engagement.
- Maintain consistency in messaging across all platforms and ministries.
- Administrative Support:
- Track and report communication performance metrics, such as email open rates, social media engagement, and website traffic.
- Organize communication workflows, ensuring streamlined processes for all projects.
- Work closely with the Creative Director to ensure timely delivery of pre-created visuals and other content.
