Making Room

FOR WHAT'S NEXT AT THE ROSE CHURCH

We’re stepping into a new building because God is growing our church and we’ve been at capacity for over two years. It’s time to make room.

Located in Portland’s Slabtown district, this 68,767-square-foot building sits in a highly walkable, mixed-use neighborhood with easy access to I-405, Highway 30, and Northwest Portland. This space creates room for more people to encounter Jesus, expands environments for kids and youth, and positions us to better serve our city as we make room for what God is doing.

ON PORTLAND

The Rose Church began in 2017 with 22 people in a living room. We officially launched in February 2018 at the Bossanova Ballroom, and just two years later, God opened the door for us to purchase our first building in the Laurelhurst neighborhood.

Now, years later, we remain committed to building big people in God, strengthening families, serving our city, and reaching the Portland metro with the message of Jesus. And today, we believe God is opening another door: providing an opportunity for a new building in Northwest Portland that will allow us to make room for even more people to encounter Jesus.

Take Your

Next Step

As we move forward, we’re inviting our church family to prayerfully consider how you can be part of what God is doing through this building.

This is a $17 million total project, with $5 million needed by May 17, 2026 to move forward. As part of this process, we’re asking everyone to submit their pledge by April 25 so we can move forward together as a church.

A pledge is your commitment, what you believe God is leading you to give, either as a one-time gift or over the next 12 months. It allows us to plan wisely and take our next steps together. Giving is how you fulfill that commitment. You can give a one-time gift or set up recurring giving through our online platform, making it simple to give now or over time.

FAQS

We’re stepping into a new building because God is growing Rose. We’ve been at capacity for over two years, and it’s time to make room. This new space creates more seats, more room for kids and youth, and environments designed to help more people encounter Jesus and serve our city.

The total project cost is approximately $17 million, including purchase and renovations. We need a minimum of $5 million given by May 17, 2026 to move forward.

Our goal is to fund this project in cash through the generosity of our church, allowing us to move forward without long-term debt and maximize future ministry impact. At the same-time, we currently have a mortgage and a trusted banking partner, giving us flexibility as we take this next step.

Yes, we plan to keep OLC and use it strategically moving forward. Once we reach the $5 million minimum needed to start, we’ll move ahead immediately. From start to finish, the process is projected to take approximately 18 months, with clear updates shared along the way.

We’re inviting everyone to prayerfully consider their part. You can give a one-time gift, give over time, or make a commitment. Every step of faith matters and everyone has a role to play.
